Candidates' Night. Candidates for NY State Assembly, District 93, Assemblyman David Buchwald (Incumbent, D) and Mr. John Nuculovic (Rep, Con) have accepted our invitation.

Candidates for US Congressional District 17 (Congresswoman Nita Lowey/Joseph Ciardullo) were invited, but at this time only Mr. Ciardullo has committed to appear. Due to the League of Women Voter's "Empty Chair" policy, a minimum of two candidates running against one another must be present to hold a candidate forum. Candidates for NYS Senate District 40 (Senator Terrence Murphy/Peter Harckham), were offered a few possible dates for a candidate forum but were unable to find a mutually convenient date.
