LWVNC 2016 - 2017 Book Discussion Group

Board Programming Director Ronni Diamondstein leads a nonpartisan, nonfiction reading group. The selections will be primarily related to political, social, economic, environmental and local issues. The group is open to all League members and guests and meets for breakfast from 9:30-11:00 AM at Crabtree's Kittle House in Chappaqua. The cost for each breakfast meeting is $18 per person. Our next meeting is Monday, March 27, 2017 at Crabtree's Kittle House, 9:30-11:00AM. We will be discussing April Ryan's The Presidency in Black and White: My Up-Close View of Three Presidents and Race in America and she will join us by SKYPE. April Ryan is the White House Correspondent and Washington Bureau Chief for American Urban Radio Networks. She has a new book, At Mama's Knee: Mothers and Race in Black and White that you may want to read too, if you have time.

Please bring $18 in cash for the breakfast. (That includes the tip.) Kindly confirm that you will be attending.
